The cheapest network is the one you only build once. Planning for growth from day one saves expensive rework later.

Start with cabling

Structured cabling is the foundation. Run quality Cat6/6A, label everything, and provision more drops than you think you need. Cabling is hard to change later, so over-provision now.

Plan the active layer

Choose managed switches with room to grow, plan VLANs for departments and devices, and design for PoE to power phones, cameras and access points. Build in redundancy at the core.
